Homemade Remedies For a Yeast Infection Fast

Yeast is a fungus that causes a condition that is very uncomfortable in men, women and children. Candida albicans is the name of the fungus which is found all over in our bodies. The most common site where yeast is likely to be found is in the mouth. Where it causes an infection referred to as oral thrush. On the skin, yeast is able to turn soft skin into a look a like of elephant skin. In the gut, yeast causes an infection that will lead to a 'leaky gut'.

The active ingredient seen in all three of these herbs is berberine, which fights against Candida. Berberine even acts as a powerful energizer for the immune system. Verify you do not implement too much golden seal as that can irritate your liver. Just take it for a couple weeks at a time at most. If you're pregnant, avoid taking either barberry as well as golden seal

Put a few drops of tea tree oil on a tampon and insert in the vagina for about twenty minutes twice a day. You can also put some on a tampon and leave the tampon in overnight.

Avoidance of alcohol, especially beer, caffeine, processed foods, sugar, etc. All these things stimulate yeast growth in our bodies. Normally our bodies are set up to handle the yeast. But in certain situations the yeast starts to multiply faster than our body can handle it.

Vinegar is renowned for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Fill a bathtub with warm water mixed with 1 cup of vinegar. Soak in this bath solution for about 20 minutes. Dry the vaginal area thoroughly using super absorbent paper. Any vinegar will do, but the best results have been found using apple cider vinegar. Adding beneficial probiotics like Lactobacillus acidophilus, L bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacteria longum, and Bifidus has been shown to help increase beneficial probiotic levels in the digestive track and help eliminate candida.

Cut down drastically in the amount of fruit and fruit juices you consume due to their high sugar content. This doesn't apply to lemon, limes and grapefruit which are low in sugar.
