For the past 2 (two) years I have not been having regular periods. Within the past year I only menstruate once every three months. When I do it is very painful with all the gross moods etc. Am I going through menopause? I am 44 years old.

you may be startiing menopause. It will be wise to see your doctor and have an ultrasound. The doctor will be able to assure you. I have just been through these medical tests. Good luckJ

It sounds to me like menopause. My Mother was through it by the age 41, and that's about the age I started it.
