Egg Donation and Surrogacy for Same Sex Couples and Singles

Emily Dickinson once said, "Dwell in possibility." No matter what a current situation is there is always a hope for more, and of course, better. A large number of singles and same sex couples are recognizing this fact as well as their needs to seeking appropriate options of having a baby. This is solely a result of various factors influencing the demand for same sex parenting.

So how exactly does it work and how can these people use these programs to have a baby? Resulting from basic human evolutionary dispositions, it is very natural for humans to want to pass their DNA onto their children. This is easy for married couples because they have the means required for the process, although, the option for singles and same-sex couples was limited to adoption before, but now they have more options than ever before.

One of these options is surrogacy. Though, there are a lot of dimensions such as legal and ethical, which require attention regarding this process for same sex couples. All these requirements must be reviewed carefully before taking a decision. Apart from the aforementioned, egg donation is another major aspect that can be considered. The considerations in choosing an egg donor completely differ from a surrogate. Because egg donors make genetic contribution, so typically a lot of traits such as physical aspects and intelligence that are known to be hereditary are considered.
