7 Natural Remedies to Fight Yeast Infections

Some three-quarters of all women will undergo a minimum of one yeast infection in their life. These patients will suffer burning sensations in the areas concerned, pain in muscles and joints, chronic fatigue, rashes, drowsiness and lack of energy. Candida is a disease that many people fight with prescriptions. But by fighting it with natural remedies, you can do several things:

To apply a tea tree oil treatment: add about 5 to 10 drops of tea tree oil to a small cup of water. Dip some sort of cotton, absorbent material into the mixture and apply to the fungal infection.

Organic apple cider vinegar that contains the cloudy substance known as "the mother" can provide a wealth of healthy and natural cures. This vinegar can kill candida bacteria externally and internally as well as provide you with many health benefits.

Avoid sugary foods and alcohols. Yeast strife from sweet products. You will have to cut down or totally eliminate sugars and alcohols and all fermented product until your yeast infection is completely gone. And even then it is important to minimize the amount of these products that you consume as it can cause recurring infections.

Cranberries are another natural alternative. I think that this is one of the easiest yeast infection treatments that I know of. Cranberries can be used as a cure for a current infection or they can be used as a preventive measure. Just by drinking two large glasses every day you can dramatically reduce the chances of getting another yeast infection.

To apply a garlic treatment: rubbing raw garlic on the infected area will help the infected area greatly, especially if it is a yeast infection. Raw garlic has anti-fungal properties and will help speed up the recovery from the fungal infection.

Food with probiotics such as yogurt will help your body self populate with healthy flora, which keeps candida levels in check. Prebiotic foods feed the flora so it can flourish in your body. When candida levels are high there's an absence of positive flora so it's a very good idea to either diversify your diet with probiotic foods or take a supplement that contains healthy flora.

Wash your clothing with warm water. Whenever you are doing your laundry be sure to use hot or warm water to wash your clothing. This is because the microorganism that causes the yeast infection me survive at room temperatures but will unable to survive at higher temperatures.
