Increase Your Chances Of Getting Pregnant - Naturally

How long have you been trying to conceive?

Are you desperate to increase your chances of conceiving? Are you starting to feel like it's all just futile?

If you're like me, it took you nearly a year, and by then you figured you must be infertile. You got tired of everyone telling you it takes some people years. As if that's suppose to be of comfort.

You feel guilty for being impatient, and you wonder what you're doing wrong.

I decided I was tired of waiting around, and was going to take my own fertility into my own hands. I was determined to increase chances of getting pregnant, no matter what.

I was temporarily dishearatened to learn that you only have a 20% chance on any given month to conceive. Those odds weren't really in my favor.

But I was optimistic to learn that most women dramatically cut these chances without ever knowing it. I realized I might have untintentionally cut mine down to a mere 8%.

That meant I could nearly triple the odds!

It wasn't so much about what I did, it's about what I didn't do.

I didn't give up because it got frustrating.

I didn't overwhelm myself with the odds.

I didn't snub my nose at alternative methods like acpuncture.

I stopped eating junk that was damaging my body and ovluation. Like trans fats and gluten.

And I stayed open minded to anything that seemed relevant. That included meditation, yoga, and new foods.

I tried everything, and the interesting part was, I liked it. The feeling of being overwhelmed passed within a few weeks and I started making changes to my diet and lifestyle.

And I hunted down what vitamins I was deficient in and consulted my doctor, gyno, and alternative health care practitioners. I wanted to know everything I could.

So what happened? I got pregnant about 6 months after I started making basic changes, and 2 months after I upped my efforts and folded in other treatments like acupuncture and nearly eliminating gluten from my diet.

Now when I look back I think a year of trying wasn't that long after all. And I'm actually grateful that I had that time to change my life and take my health into my own hands.

It's most important to realize everyone's body is different. That's why your friend can get pregnant eating french fries and drinking beer without even thinking about it.

But for others, their bodies react to food and other things in our environment and respond accordingly. In truth, we're better off. Our bodies are sending us a clear signal of what it needs and wants to thrive.
