Common Infertility symptoms uncovered

According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (the ASRM), infertility is a disease. If you are under 35 years old and have been trying to conceive for one year, then that's an indication of infertility issues. If you areover 35 and have been trying for more than 6 months, then that's an indication of problems. The National Infertility Association supports this definition and adds that there is no single symptom in most cases. Usually you will have to detect the causes of infertility by monitoring your body and through regular checkups. So if you aren't within the definition of infertility yet, you may just be having a string of bad luck—keep trying. If you have been trying longer, then you're not alone. We are there with you.

Regular or irregular periods? An irregular period is sometimes a symptom. Let's put emphasis on the word sometimes because this is by no means an absolute indicator. Even if you have an irregular period, as some women do, this does not mean you won't get pregnant without help. Keep a written journal of the start date and stop date of your period for several months. If you have recently stopped taking birth control, it can take several months for your body to normalize. Don't worry yet. Just keep track of it.
